We had spent Thanksgiving at my parents house, my mom always made everything from scratch, bread, pies, mash potatoes, gravy, candied yams, deviled eggs, green bean casserole (my favorite by the way), my dad would always be in charge of the ham and Turkey.
The whole family was there, and all three kids of my kiddos, they were so excited. Nathaniel was Grandpa’s boy then he was spoiled rotten, his Grandpa was still watching him while I was working. I gave each of the them a little bit of everything I would say, just try it and if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it, then they spent most of the day outside playing and running after the chickens, goats.
All my brothers and sisters were there, my sister’s Sandra and Elizabeth and my brothers Thomas and Stephen, I was so exciting to see everyone and of course my mom was as well, she would always want to take a bunch of pictures on holidays mainly because that was the only time she could get all of us together, she loved the loved the holidays , me as well, she would make the best pies she was always running around excited picture, picture, and we were like mom!!
